Istituto Comprensivo di Bosco Chiesanuova (POLO – Italy) coordinates a National network of educational institutions for pedagogical research and innovation called European Pole of Knowledge (acronym Europole). The network, born in 1998, includes about 4000 institutions and educational organizations of all levels, from kindergartens to adult education centres, vocational training institutes and universities, as well as public administrations, cultural and sports associations, and civil society organizations.

Europole is active in every field of education promoting the European dimension, inclusion and prosocial values through projects and networks, workshops, seminars, conferences, and partnerships. The network is coordinating “umbrella activities” involving every time the greatest possible number of institutions of the consortium. Europole includes and collaborates with other national networks in the educational field, furthermore coordinates and is a member of four European networks.
