Objectives
Facilitate contact between students and recent graduates of humanistic studies and encourage their participation as volunteer mentors to work with children from vulnerable groups.
Methodology
With the implementation of the programme, results are achieved in two directions. The first is related to the opportunity for young professionals to develop their skills for direct work with children, and the second relates to the conditions that the programme creates for the students through their contact with young professionals to become acquainted professionals become familiar with different role models and are encouraged to talk about their strengths and work to develop them.
At the same time, the mentoring programme has been developed in a way that allows the dissemination and application of this kind of useful interaction through established frameworks for structured interaction - a mentoring process among young specialists/students, PhD students, etc./ with high school students and baccalaureate education in various subjects, with a unifying direction education, social skills, emotional competence, exchange of role models and others.

Enablers
The mentoring programme is not understood without the participation of schools, which in addition to enabling the spaces where these meetings take place, actively participate in it. The participation of families is also remarkable, being in permanent contact with the mentors and witnessing the evolution of the programme. It carries out a preliminary preparation of the newly graduated in the role of mentor, allowing a more effective action and preventing any type of conflict situation that may arise with the school, families or students mentored.
Barriers
Sometimes parents can exercise some control in the decisions of the child, or interfere excessively in the role of the
mentor, so the preparation of the same to know how to handle these situations is essential.
Grade of linkage with the Safe Education Model
Mentor provides knowledge, shares experiences, shows and leads opportunities and resources, helps identify learners' strengths and develops mechanisms to manage their weaknesses. In short, it is an emotional support for the student in the achievement of their vital and academic goals. This model of mentoring gives a leading role to the student, but pouring this support on other educational agents such as the family or the school.
Grade of linkage with the purpose of Let's Care
The programme does not include among its objectives the prevention of school dropout and/or failure, but it works briefly, in the form of advice to students and families to achieve a comprehensive development of the former. Mentors are benchmarks for students and can be a motivating aspect to improve their school performance.
Grade of evidence about impact and political relevance
156 children who participated in the programme were interviewed. Their feedback is completely positive, almost everyone says they enjoyed interacting with the mentors. More than 80% felt it was easier for them to set goals after these meetings, and about 70% said they enjoyed discovering and discussing their own strengths and felt safer making plans for themselves. Beyond this, no impact assessment tools are mentioned. The official website does not provide information on quantitative and qualitative data (number of beneficiaries, improvement in student skills, etc.)

Reproducibility
It is a national programme, suitable for any school in Bulgaria to implement. The mentoring is adapted to the needs of each centre and in particular to the needs of the children, which is why, despite being a national programme, there is considerable heterogeneity in its implementation.
