Objectives

Developing a model of teaching and upbringing supporting the school achievement and personal development of students, especially those at risk of exclusion. Class integration, teachers' acquisition of tools to deal with diversity, building a positive atmosphere in the classroom.

Methodology

"The methodology focuses on improving the motivation and academic achievement of primary and secondary school students, as well as fostering positive relationships between teachers, students and parents.
The programme is based on five key areas that influence students' motivation and academic success: classroom management, building positive relationships, classroom social climate, adaptive teaching and school-family relationships.
For each area, a set of principles (""golden principles"") have been defined for teachers to follow in implementing the programme in their classrooms. These principles include creating a classroom environment that encourages concentration and work, establishing positive relationships with students and their families, creating a positive social environment, adapting teaching to students' needs and promoting school-family collaboration."

Enablers

"The implementation of the Five Golden programme has had several facilitators. Firstly, the programme provides a clear and structured framework for teachers, with defined objectives in each of the key areas identified. In addition, it provides a list of key principles that teachers can follow to implement the programme in the classroom.
Another important facilitator is the training of teachers in the programme. Teachers receive comprehensive and systematic training on how to implement the programme in their classroom, enabling them to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for effective implementation.
Finally, the importance of school management commitment and leadership in the implementation of the programme has also been highlighted. When school management is committed to and supportive of the programme, teachers are more motivated and committed to its implementation."

Barriers

Several barriers have been identified in the implementation of the Five Golden programme. These include resistance to change on the part of some teachers who prefer to continue using their own teaching methods. Lack of time and resources to fully implement the programme has also been reported. In addition, some teachers have had difficulties adapting the programme's strategies to the needs of their students. Communication and coordination problems between the different actors involved in the implementation of the programme, such as teachers, parents and the supervision team, have also been reported. Another factor that has affected the implementation of the programme is the lack of education and training of some teachers to correctly apply the techniques and strategies proposed by the programme. Despite these barriers, the programme has made significant progress in improving school climate, student motivation and academic performance in the schools where it has been implemented.

Grade of linkage with the Safe Education Model

The Five Golden programme focuses on developing practical skills for teachers in areas such as classroom management and individualising teaching to increase student motivation, building positive relationships with students and parents, and building a nurturing classroom environment. By putting these skills into practice, teachers can build trusting and secure relationships with their students, fostering positive bonding and attachment in the classroom. By increasing bonding and attachment in the classroom, it has been shown that students' academic performance and motivation can be improved, which can have a long-term positive impact on their personal and academic development.

Grade of linkage with the purpose of Let's Care

A link can be established between the Five Golden programme and the reduction of school failure and dropout. By fostering students' motivation and creating a positive and safe learning environment, the programme can help to reduce students' demotivation and disinterest in school. Also, by establishing a good relationship between teachers and students, the programme can contribute to preventing dropout and increasing student retention in the education system.

Grade of evidence about impact and political relevance

The Five Golden programme has proven to have a significant impact on improving school climate and increasing students' motivation and academic performance. In addition, it has fostered collaboration between the school, parents and the wider community, which has improved the quality of education in Poland. Due to its success, this programme has received political and financial support from the Polish government, which has enabled its expansion to other schools and regions of the country. In short, Five Golden is an example of an effective educational programme that has gained political recognition and has the potential to have a positive impact on education nationwide.

In addition, the programme is designed to be scalable and adaptable to different levels of schooling, allowing it to be implemented in a wide variety of educational settings."
