Attachment Security

Description:

A secure attachment is a protective factor against adversity. It gives the child a better capacity to find healthy mechanisms of emotional self-regulation, trust in one's abilities to solve problems, and activate resources such as asking for help [1]. For all these reasons, attachment security can be considered a fundamental need, a child's right, a matter of justice, and a lever for resilience.
