Integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics in Education - Introduction to the STEAM approach

The 2nd module of the course is aimed at teachers interested in implementing an interdisciplinary educational approach that combines science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. In this intensive course, participants will learn how to design lessons and activities that integrate these disciplines in a creative and stimulating way, promoting active and engaging learning. The four-hour course will provide teachers with the necessary tools to develop transversal skills in students, preparing them for the challenges of the future. Objectives: Understanding the STEAM approach: to provide teachers with a clear understanding of the principles and benefits of the STEAM approach in education. Design interdisciplinary activities: To help teachers create teaching activities that integrate science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. Promoting active learning: Encouraging the use of teaching methodologies that stimulate creativity, problem solving and collaboration among students.
