On the 13th of January 2024, Lurdes Veríssimo from Portugal’s Let’s Care team (UCP), held a presentation entitled “Interculturality in schools: Opportunities and Challenges” during the 5th cycle of Conferences Innovate in Education, Citizenship and Network in the city of Viseu (Portugal). This conference was promoted by the Municipality of Viseu and the Centre for Training from Schools in Viseu. 250 teachers from all school years participated in the event. Lurdes Veríssimo presented strategies for the promotion of a positive experience of interculturality in schools, one of these being the promotion of secure relationships among members of the school community, connecting this idea with the roots of the Let’s Care theoretical approach.
