The Association of Regional Initiatives Development (ARID) used a great opportunity to promote the HORIZON project “Let’s Care”. ARID has organized a local conference at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Cracow, Poland.
During the conference, which counted around 50 participants from different educational and social work backgrounds, members of the Association presented the aims and results of the project. The conference resulted in great interest in the project among professors from the educational field and social work students who would like to counteract the problem of early dropout among schoolchildren in the future. The concept of stakeholder and school networks was presented, as well as the idea of “safe schools.” All concepts were met with follow-up questions and positive feedback.
